How?
The Industrial Trust is dependant on the generous help of its supporters, including the 700+ companies that host Industrial Trust visits.
We draw down funding to meet the costs of our visits from several sources. This includes donations from charitable and corporate supporters. (We normally require schools to cover the direct transport costs associated with visits.)
There is a range of ways in which organizations can support the Trust. These vary from National Sponsorship of a Trust programme through to meeting the costs of producing written curriculum support materials that optimize the benefits of a visit to the young people involved.
We are also very grateful to the many organizations that choose to support the Trust through “in-kind” benefits, for example through secondees or office space. (The Trust offers excellent development opportunities for secondees at all levels. Please speak to John Gibbs-Newton for more details.)
Individuals can also help, either through personal donations or by providing their time to assist us, on a voluntary basis, with legal, accountancy, PR etc. issues.
And we are, of course, always looking to identify new companies/organisations to offer inspiring visits. |
